Freedom is here…
I wonder what’s in there
Never seen, never got to explore.
Never felt..
I wonder what’s there.
How does it feel to be freed?
I kept wondering..
But again, my thoughts were hindered.
Hindered by my daily chores..
Hindered by my responsibilities..
Hindered by my urge to run away,
From everything i cocooned myself with…
Where is freedom
When i chose to hide my anger..
My frustration, my fear, my numbness and my words…
Where is freedom,
When i chose to suppress my desires,
Where is freedom,
When all i do is accounted as responsibility and out of love…
Where is freedom,
When all i get to make a wish list on dust…
Which one day gets blown away in a sweep…
Where is freedom,
When i feel the suffocation…
Where is freedom,
When i see Silent suffering…
All i see is nothing but,
Living beings enslaved by humans,
Who is ruled by narrow minds?

Free yourself

Free yourself,
Free yourself from the burdens you weigh on your mind…
Free yourself, from the expectations you are bound by,
Free your thoughts, and embrace the now…
Free yourself from the weight of unknown things,
Set your mind on a journey of the unbounded path.
Let things unfold,
Let your mind be uncluttered.
The process is painful,
But never unsatisfying.
You may come across,
Hurdles to cross,
Which I am sure you will eventually;
All you need to remember is,
Your mind is your limit.
Expand it, let it explore the unforeseen;
Something you will never regret upon.

Normalize breaks

I just want to lay down simply,
Doing nothing, but idle around;
Like a pause from the world around me;
Just lay down, and not think of anything;
Dump all the garbage of thoughts into the invisible bin;
Expecting it to disappear;
Soaking in the moments, I am in;
To recharge and restart, everything I was doing till that moment;
I realized a little later that, life will never give you a break;
Even when we desperately need it;
It is only we, who can bestow the same;
Releasing ourselves from the burdens we loaded upon ourselves;
Knowingly and unknowingly;
We can never expect someone or something to give us the break or pause we need;
Because there is always something to be done;
Always someone to talk to or be with;
Something asked or to be taken care of;
This is a never-ending cycle;
Until you decide you want to pause;
Listen to the unheard cries of your exhausted self;
Which is demanding you, to pause and rejuvenate;
Be lost in your pause;
Let your mind listen to nothing, but silence;

Stay Present

Stay present,
My mind whispered…
Little did i realize,
How important it was to smile..
Feel the gush of wind on my skin..
The glistening skin under the sun…
And many more…
I never knew that it was always better than complaining,
Complaining about something i could never control…
My mind asked me to flow…
Flow with the tidal waves of life…
That’s where it’s gonna take me.
Rather than restraining myself,
Holding on to some things that could never be a part of me…
Little did i realize,
That it is ok not to be perfect,
It’s okay to let go and then clutch to something that causes you pain.
Forgive yourselves for being vulnerable.
Life is not about a checked task list.
Sometimes it is all about some moments
That you gift yourself,
Some alone time, that you treasure..
A skip from monotony,
Soaking yourself in some me time,
Doing what you love…
And sometimes just idle…
Idling enough to rejuvenate.
Sometimes you find yourself,
Hiding away in the rush hours of your life…
Rediscover and embrace that you in you…

Sadness

Sadness-
We all have it;
we want to adorn it;
even when we are in pain,
Sometimes it comes in abundance;
especially when it is unwanted;
we also want to hold it close;
as we want to torture ourselves too much;
Is it because we are scared to be happy;
is it because we feel that being happy is a crime;
We behave like we are addicted to some sadness;
the prick of it on our soul;
we show off as if we are deeply enjoying it
We cling to it;
worrying if we show a bit of happiness, forgetting ourselves in the moment;
we might become selfish;
but, remember my child;
life is full of hardships;
yet we are at times blessed with hard moments;
it is what makes you who you are;
cherish your moments,
no matter what stage of life you are in,
you might feel you are in the wrong place;
you lost everything, or the motivation to move on;
no bumpy road is easy to traverse;
this is how it works;
just remember, some sadness cannot be eliminated;
it stays, like a mountain for a while,
then slowly it becomes a mole, 
untouched for a longer time, but remaining silent,
at times pricking your soul;
even though the pain it instills is larger;
you are so engrossed in life, that, you switch, from that pain;
with a smile eventually. 
Trust the process, forget the pressure; LIVE.

Alive

Who am I?
Some refer to me as kind-hearted,
some say I am sone-hearted,
but all I know is, I gather a moss when left untouched;
Untouched I wanna be,
untamed I want to be;
I am like the leaf, that floats with the breeze,
breeze being my life;
I may leave myself unturned for long,
and sometimes, unhinged by the wind;
I am the leaf, that spent years adorning the tree I was rooted to;
expected to be an ornament, staying still or reconciling  with the branches;
Now, I am a free bird;
I had a deep fall;
Which was expected, but unpredictable;
At first, I was never scared;
I was so fascinated by the depth, that kept me calling;
and one fine day;
I got detached from the roots, that held me so tight;
Now I am setting my journey to a bottomless pit;
unknown and unaware of what I might encounter;
yet excited enough to keep my journey advancing;
I am unable to hold on to emotions that come my way,
since I am tired of holding on to a branch;
Now, it is time for my self-discovery;
better late than never.
Never try to hold on to me,
as I already set my sail, to the direction of the wind;
progressing steadily, to rediscover the Me in Me.

Unsee me

Sometimes i just wanna be idle,
Soaking in the reality,
Letting the world speed by me;
Letting me be on my own,
Sipping my warm cup,
Cherishing everything and anything,
That my mind could hog in…
Sprinting in my realms of thoughts,
I wandered around.
Not knowing what takes me or what leads me…
The world around me, pushing the patience
In me to the limits,…
Yet i keep sinking, floating and diving in sometimes…
At times the world suffocates me,
At times, i let the world burden me.
Either way, i am sacrificing my peace for nothing…
Heap of expectations,  and disappointments,
Hurling deep in my soul…
Yet i remain calm..
Sipping in my warmth,
Sinking in my moment…
Awaiting the world to forget me.
And unsee me.
